Today’s choice is J. D. Sanderson’s “A Footstep Echo” (https://t.co/f5Smk9BiyX). Echo is a rogue tale, an intriguing sci-fi title, and in our never-ending tributes to outstanding items in all the galaxies of speculative fiction, we’re not going to pass including this one on top of our list for today. With a brief read, we discover a plot that is exceedingly unique in its presentation and style. If we assume you share our enthusiasm for a good book, you need to appreciate how readers reacted. We took note of the words from a reader, “This was an amazing adventure through time. It is full of mystery, and has you second guessing what you think you know. The characters were well written and likable. I just could not figure out how this was gonna play out and that was refreshing.
