Today, our choice of sci-fi is J. D. Sanderson’s “The Clock’s Knell” (https://t.co/Y1cqnCTwWv). Knell is an exhilarating work of fiction, and in our never-ending tributes to norm-shattering worlds in all the universes of science fiction, we’re sure this one belongs on top of our list for today. With this one, we discover a yarn we can say is exceedingly ingenious in its presentation and style. If you have time for anything today, your attention is needed. Please, at least have a quick look at how readers react. We took note of the words from a reader, “If you already like science fiction - especially social science fiction - you will enjoy this. It’s a fun, fast read that has substance. If you aren’t a big fan of science fiction, I’d encourage you to check it out anyway. In the end, it’s really a tale about imperfect people, family, sacrifice, and courage…and that transcends genres.” If you’ve been kind enough to read our lovingly crafted review, you ought to continue one small step further and search for your own copy. If you’re not quite won over yet, subscribe for email updates until we discover the next big science fiction author of our time. Yes, we can only hope it’ll happen eventually.
