The Seed of the Violet Tree is an exquisitely developed exciting fictional work, and so in honor of all incredible worlds in all the niches of sci-fi, we are not regretting including this one on top of our list for today. Here we find a plot we conclude is compellingly entertaining in terms of emotional content. If your taste in books is as good as ours, your attention is needed. Please, at least appreciate how sci-fi readers reacted. We took note of the words from an obviously enthused reader, “A contemporary mystery which explores humanity’s emerging relationship with artificial superintelligence. Topical and packed with unexpected twists this is a well thought out plot that never fails to satisfy. The characters are both vivid and believable with the mystery’s investigator Amber Lake taking centre stage as secrets from her own past are gradually revealed. A joy to read. I was left with much to contemplate and I found myself mulling over the issues raised for several days afterwards.
