On this day our choice of outstanding sci-fi is Harry Bentham’s “Shadow Region” (https://t.co/xKDyNaWg9L). Shadow Region is the best choice we can think of at the moment, an amazing work, and so if we’re going to get through all norm-shattering titles in all the galaxies of sci-fi, we are not regretting including this one on our lists. For certain, we find a story that is convincingly ingenious in its literary virtues. If you have time for anything today, your attention is needed. Please, at least appreciate how sci-fi readers reacted. In the words of an obviously enthused reader, “This is part of a series of short stories about the Captain and crew of the Starship Traction. Since it is very brief, the plot and character development are limited, but it gives the feel of a Star Trek type world build. The quick read allows enough time for some interesting twists. The writing is smooth and the enjoyable, a brief break from the reality of a busy life!” If you read our earnest recommendation, you might as well go that tiny step further and search for your own copy. If not, subscribe for email updates until we discover the next best thing since The Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter. We all expect we’re getting close!
